My name is Carriene Rendbo, and I am a certified trichologist, having completed formal trichology training with the Institute of Trichologists and TrichoCare UK, qualifying in 2020. This training enables me to carry out structured trichological assessments and to work in a way that supports and complements medical care where appropriate.
Alongside my formal education, I have worked professionally with hair and scalp concerns for over 14 years through my work running I Love Natural Hair ApS. During this time, I have supported individuals through education, assessment, and evidence-informed guidance. My background includes extensive hands-on work with clients, beginning with educational workshops focused on hair structure, hair care practices, and the science behind curly and textured hair.
My motivation is to share knowledge, provide clarity, and support people who are struggling with their hair or scalp. Many clients feel unsure or overwhelmed, and my aim is to help them better understand their concerns and navigate their options with confidence.
My Approach
My approach is science-based, ethical, and holistic. I take the time to understand each individual’s hair and scalp concerns in context, considering factors such as hair care practices, lifestyle, health history, and environmental influences. I work with all hair types, textures, genders, and backgrounds, within clear professional boundaries, and focus on realistic, evidence-informed guidance rather than guaranteed outcomes.
Hair and scalp concerns can feel like a lot to manage. My role is to reassure you, ensure you feel heard, and provide clear guidance, so you can make informed decisions about your hair and scalp.
